A little update on The Lost Huntress of Lidith

Well, I am nearing the end of the editing journey, and to say I am humbled is an understatement. I thought I would have no issues. I thought I would be a natural. It was until I sat in on a writing panel back in March that I realized, “Wow, we are all pretty good here.”

Now here I am, about 5 months later, querying in small batches. My expectations are real, as I know this process can be daunting. I know I will hear 100000 “No” before I hear the hopeful “yes.” I truly am okay with this, because I would rather find the right agent that fits rather than wrong one.

I have to say though, without a professional editor, I am not sure I would have even had the right to submit this work out. If it wasn’t for Shauna, I would have never found the plot holes, the cringe moments, or even acknowledged the power I could have with my words. I am so so so blessed, and hope that this journey continues to be a positive one.
