My writing journey is pretty unconventional, starting in grade school where I created short stories on my old, oversized desktop computer. I excelled in classes that involved writing and literature over math and science, but really, my goal in life was to help people while making a name for myself.
Fast forward to the life of an indecisive nineteen year old, I was in college for psychology (the need to help people) and was suffering. I was doing what so many are told to do but was not fulfilled the way I wanted to be. I wanted to take control of my life and success, and walked into the English department at the end of my sophomore year to switch my major, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Professional Writing two years later.
Looking back at my twenties, I truly had no idea where I wanted to be but knew that I wanted to write. I lost my way more than once, but have always created. From blogs to content creation, telling stories has always been… me.
I live in North Carolina with my husband, two boys, and two pugs. You can find me getting lost in an oversized fantasy book, drinking coffee, or scrolling TikTok.
